We are pleased to announce that our joint mobile learning project for the students in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, who had been studying for high school and university entrance examinations, was featured as a case study on the website of GSMA (GSM Association), world's largest mobile phone industry association:

In the project that took place until mid-March 2012, we supported the students in Ishinomaki, who had been badly affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011, by providing them with a learning environment in the form of mobile devices, for them to prepare for high school and university entrance examinations.
The case study also quoted from a comment made by Satoshi Yamawaki, CEO of Castalia Co. Ltd:
"Social learning realizes an eco-system in which someone's learning experience supports other learning processes which have a high scalability supported by the Web. We will continue to provide this service as a new form of support for mobile devices."

In January 2012, Castalia made a joint presentation and demonstration with KDDI at the GSMA Experience Dome at "Learning Without Frontiers 2012," an international educational conference held in London, United Kingdom. The success at the conference led to this featuring of the project report on the GSMA website. The website also features a number of case studies from Europe, United States, and other parts of the world.
