Castalia Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hideyuki Maekawa as our board member as of December 1, 2013.
Mr. Maekawa, a graduate of Kyoto University who has worked most recently at IBM, has an established career as a consulting professional, mainly in human resource development based on e-learning. In his new role, he will promote the corporate use of goocus pro, Castalia's mobile learning platform.
In accordance with Mr. Maekawa's appointment, Mr. Tsuneaki Kobayashi, the executive board member of our shareholder Shingakukai, has resigned from Castalia's board of directors.
