CODE EDUCATION EVENT “Ozobot FESTIVAL” TO BE HELD JULY 27 IN TOKYO FEATURING MORE THAN 100 UNITS OF OZOBOT, WIDELY POPULAR MICRO-ROBOT FOR CODE EDUCATION, AS WELL AS IMPLEMENTATION REPORT AND WORKSHOP


Castalia Co., Ltd, the official import/distribution agent of Ozobot, a micro-robot for code education, will hold Ozobot Festival
2019 (OzoFes), the largest domestic Ozobot event, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Chuo University’s Ichigaya-Tamachi
Campus, with the support of the university’s Faculty of Global Information.


 

Under the mantra of “To the future with Ozobot”, the event will feature wide array of attractions such as a case study talk of the use of
Ozobot at elementary and junior high schools, children’s workshop to experience the robot, and an exhibition of various implementations
of Ozobot in educational scenes and code education overseas.  Ahead of programming becoming compulsory at elementary schools
starting from April 2020, this is an event for everyone from elementary/junior high school teachers, parents who wish to have their
children learn programming, and high school and college students to adults to enjoy learning about code education.

Mr. Nader Hamda, CEO of Evollve Inc. that invented and distributes Ozobot, is featured as special guest for a keynote lecture.
Mr. Takahiko Saigo, Principal of Sakuragaoka Junior High School in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, will also make a presentation on the forward-
thinking classes conducted at his school.
