CASTALIA TIES IN WITH MOVIE "GOGO" FOR AN ONLINE EVENT: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2020 14:00 JST

 "Thinking of Education in Africa at Time Like This"
Specialists illustrate education in Kenya today, where the movie is set

 
Castalia ties in with movie "Gogo", a movie locally distributed by Kino Films and will hit theaters across Japan Friday, December 25, 2020.  The project kicks off the following day, Saturday, December 26 at 14:00JST, with an online event celebrating the release of the movie.   The event, entitled "Thinking of Education in Africa at Time Like This", is something only Castalia can offer, drawing from our ongoing experience with educational projects in Kenya.  Specialists will illustrate the snapshot of education in Africa today, and a staff from the distribution company in charge of the movie will give an introduction.

"Gogo" (local word for "grandma") is a 94-year-old living in Kenya.   After working as a midwife for 75 years, she entered elementary school along with her six great-grandchildren.  She studies hard to make her lifetime dream come true - to graduate.
