CASTALIA'S "TAARIFA ZA MAMA" APP ADOPTED FOR METI'S "TOBIDASE JAPAN!" PROGRAM; APP TO BE LAUNCHED IN FULL SCALE
"Taarifa za Mama" creates an information-sharing network among expectant mothers, aiming to lower the high death rate of expectant and nursing mothers
"Taarifa za Mama" (Mom's Record), Castalia's personal health record app, was adopted for "The 7th Tobidase Japan!" program, an initiative under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) for providing subsidies to small and medium-sized companies entering global growth markets.

[Taarifa za Mama (Mom's Record)]
"Taarifa za Mama" is an app that creates an information-sharing network among expectant mothers. The midwife enters the results of each prenatal checkup on the app installed in her own smartphone. This enables the sharing of data between different health facilities and midwives, digitally converting and facilitating the current prenatal checkup system which is paper-based, complex and chaotic. Expectant mothers receive the results of their prenatal checkups and notifications for the next appointment, through which we aim to realize the continuity of health guidance and the increase in the frequency of receiving prenatal checkups.
As a foothold to perfect the service for the launch of business, we will utilize the subsidies obtained from "The 7th Tobidase Japan!" to conduct the field work and feasibility study.

[Tobidase Japan!]
"The 7th Tobidase Japan!" program called for applicants this past May as an initiative to offer subsidies to companies in Japan for entering global growth markets in African countries, India, etc. As a result, 10 companies have been adopted for the program.
The adopted companies will receive financial support by way of subsidies, as well as the backup from METI and related organizations to network with local enterprises and government.
