Obituary Notice: Yasuo Kawabata, Director of Castalia Co., Ltd. and Representative Director of African Mothers Inc.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Yasuo Kawabata, Director of Castalia Co., Ltd. and President & CEO of African Mothers Co., Ltd. He passed away at Keio University Hospital on August 12, 2025, at 8:51 p.m., at the age of 58, after a period of medical treatment.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kawabata made invaluable contributions to addressing social issues in the fields of education and healthcare, significantly advancing the mission and growth of our group. In particular, he dedicated himself to promoting maternal and child health as well as educational services in Africa, striving to build sustainable, community-based systems. His passion and achievements have been highly recognized not only within our company but also in the broader international education and healthcare communities.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and support extended to him during his lifetime and pray for the repose of his soul.

The wake and funeral will be held privately with close family members and associates. Further details will be announced separately.
