Executive Leadership Changes at Castalia Co., Ltd. and African Mothers Co., Ltd.

Castalia Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Shinobu Miyata as Director. Additionally, Kimiyoshi Yokogawa has been appointed as the new President and CEO of African Mothers Co., Ltd.


These changes follow the passing of Mr. Yasuo Kawabata, who had served as a Director at Castalia and the President of African Mothers, a wholly owned subsidiary. Mr. Kawabata made invaluable contributions to Castalia’s management and new business development, and played a central role in advancing maternal and child health and digital healthcare initiatives across Africa through African Mothers.

Shinobu Miyata has been appointed as a new Director.


Profile:
Born in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. After completing a master’s degree at Keio University Graduate School, he began his career at the Tokyo branch of Citibank. Following experience at a trust bank, he transitioned into the fund industry and established the Japan office of the country’s first independent fund administration firm. Later, while serving as COO at an asset management company, he became connected with our firm through one of its managed funds. He now operates his own consulting company and fund administration firm.

Kimiyoshi Yokogawa has been appointed as President and CEO.


Profile: 
Graduated from the Faculty of Education at Osaka Kyoiku University and completed a master’s degree at the university’s graduate school. After graduation, he joined Castalia Co., Ltd. He holds a specialized high school teaching license in information science and conducted research on programming education during his university studies.
He has been involved in designing, supervising, and developing curricula for programming education content, as well as leading children's workshops, instructor training seminars, and programming sessions as a lecturer.
