This course will be added as one of the learning programs offered by the programming school CODEPOWER ONLINE.
Through CODEPOWER 3D, participants learn how to use Blender, a 3DCG animation creation tool, as well as 3D modeling skills, and how to use the game engine Unity, including programming, through hands-on 3D game development. Ultimately, learners will acquire the skills needed to independently create simple 3D/VR-compatible games.
Existing CODEPOWER ONLINE students can enroll in this course at no additional cost.
◆ Overview
CODEPOWER 3D is a Blender and Unity learning course designed for metaverse professionals.
Blender is an integrated application for creating 3DCG animations. Although it is open-source freeware (free of charge), it is lightweight and highly functional, and is widely used by users around the world.
Unity is a popular game engine that enables efficient development of games and 3D content. It is basically free for non-commercial use and is used globally.
In this course, learners create 3D games while alternately studying Blender and Unity. By learning the two tools in parallel, participants can acquire practical 3D game development skills.
CODEPOWER 3D is one of the learning courses offered by the online programming school CODEPOWER ONLINE. "Since it was my first time using both Unity Visual Scripting and Blender, I learned a lot. Unity has complex scripts and settings, and there are many parts I still do not fully understand. However, I feel that once I grasp the basic concepts and how to use commands, it will open up many possibilities and become very interesting.

Having both videos and text materials was very helpful, as I could refer back to them when I had trouble following the flow or the videos. Stage 1: Blender Basics
Across Stages 1 to 3, participants will build a 3D game titled “Treasure Hunt Game.”
In Stage 1, learners study Blender itself and its basic operations, and create an avatar to be used in a 3D game.
Stage 2: Unity Basics
Across Stages 1 to 3, participants will build a 3D game titled “Treasure Hunt Game.”
In Stage 2, learners study Unity and its basic operations, create the foundation of a game stage, and learn how to move avatars within the game.
Stage 3: 3D Game Development
Across Stages 1 to 3, participants will build a 3D game titled “Treasure Hunt Game.”
In Stage 3, learners develop the game by adding essential features such as event points and obstacles, completing the treasure hunt game.

In Stages 4 and 5, learners further polish the 3D game to make it feel more like a complete game while studying professional Unity development techniques. Features such as animations, sound effects, background music, and game-over conditions will be added.

Learners study how to publish the completed game as a VR application or a web application.
