About WFWS 2026

The World Forum for Women in Science - Japan (WFWS 2026) is an international conference organized by a global network of women scientists, to be held in Hiroshima in July 2026.

The forum aims to foster connections among women researchers across borders and disciplines, promoting the sharing of knowledge to advance a more equitable and inclusive future for science, as well as the co-creation of “Science and Technology for Peace.”

Professor Yoko Shimpuku (Hiroshima University), who serves as Chair of the conference, specializes in global health and maternal and child health. She is also an external director of AM and has been actively engaged in initiatives to improve maternal and child health and develop human resources in Africa.

Background of the Sponsorship

AM is committed to improving maternal and child health and developing human resources in Africa through technology-driven approaches. In particular, the company focuses on building sustainable health and education systems by developing and deploying digital solutions tailored to local needs.
