We will hold a memorial gathering to mark the first anniversary of the passing of Yasuo Kawabata, former Director of Castalia Co., Ltd. and former President & CEO of African Mothers Co., Ltd., who passed away on August 12 last year.
If you knew Mr. Kawabata personally, we warmly invite you to stop by, even though the event takes place just before the Obon holiday period.
This will not be a formal ceremony. Rather, it will be an opportunity to remember and celebrate Mr. Kawabata's life through photographs, personal devices, and other items that he cherished. Members of his family will also be joining us.
We will be serving Tanzanian tea and Taiwanese sweets during the day, and Taiwanese beer in the evening—one of Mr. Kawabata's favorites—as we gather to share memories and stories about him.
